OUR HISTORY
For more than 25 years, Hortec has provided horticultural automation solutions to UK Growers, acquiring an enviable reputation in the process. The central base in Warwickshire is home to an experienced team who are dedicated to providing the very best service, support and technical knowledge.
ABOUT HORTEC
From Hortec’s inception in the 1990s with Ian and Mary Thornhill, who operated as the sole UK agents for Javo Machinery, it remains a business benefited by a team of industrious employees. After Ian and Mary retired in 2021 the business is now owned by Steve Dunn, with an ethos of making our customers central to everything we do.
Steve joined Hortec in 2018. Having previously worked in Agriculture he has found a home in Horticulture and loves working in this industry
Hortec’s offering has expanded from our core JAVO dealership and we can now offer products from Martin Stolze, Lanz, Pack TTI, and Alvan Blanch. We also work alongside Fargro to help with any Finance you may need.
