Steve Dunn, Director
-
- Steve is an Engineer, having studied at Harper Adams University
- He worked with a range of agricultural machinery before joining Hortec in 2018
- He excels at visualising and planning installations, understanding the technical nature of the machines he is selling, and how they can benefit customers in practice
- When Steve isn’t working he can be found watching Rugby, gardening or finding any excuse to go farming.
Dan Downie, Field Services Manager

- Dan is the most experienced of our engineers joining Hortec in 2017
- His background as a field service engineer means he is adept at all elements of mechanical and electrical engineering
- His knowledge of our Javo machinery is second to none and he is using that to support our newer engineers
- Downtime for Dan is busy. DIY, Ford Capris, Walking, Trucks, Star Wars and Gaming all getting a look in!
Ray Hayes, Engineer

- Ray joined us in January 2024
- Previously working in the automotive industry, Ray has a wealth of engineering and electrical knowledge.
- Ray’s can do attitude positive attitude is just brilliant
- When not at work Ray will be DIY’ing or cheering on his beloved Coventry City
Jordan Cotterell, Engineer

- Jordan joined us in 2026
- Previously serving in the Navy, Jordan brings with him a wealth of mechanical and technical engineering experience and is keen to develop his skills with us.
- We are sure he will be welcomed by all to the world of Horticulture
- Away from work Jordan is a keen sportsman and horse rider
